    Mr. Mohamad Obaidy

    Founder & Director Nanda Group

    Mr. Mohamad Obaidy, our dedicated leader, serves as the driving force behind Nanda Learning Center. His vision, commitment, and active involvement in daily operations ensure the continued success, quality, and smooth functioning of all our locations.

    Known for his positive energy, kind heart, and genuine passion for early childhood education, Mr. Mohamad has built a program rooted in care, excellence, and community. His leadership extends beyond administration—he remains actively engaged with both staff and families, fostering strong relationships and a supportive environment.

    Unlike many business owners, Mr. Mohamad prioritizes meaningful connections, creating a culture where staff feel valued and supported. His presence is felt throughout the center, and it is not uncommon to see children greeting him by name and with a smile.

    His hands-on leadership and unwavering dedication continue to shape Nanda Learning Center into a place where children, families, and educators can truly thrive.

    Ms. Renata Shami

    Center Director

    Ms. Renata has been a valued member of Nanda since 2013. Over the years, she has followed her passion for early childhood education, supporting and guiding many children as they take their first steps into learning.

    Through her experience, she has built strong and meaningful relationships with both children and their families. Ms. Renata holds an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education, which has strengthened her understanding of the critical role the early years play as the foundation for a lifetime of learning and well-being.

  • Ms.Diana Lemus

    Ms. Diana Lemus

    General Administrator

    Ms. Diana serves as the General Administrator across all Nanda Learning Center locations, where she plays a key leadership role in ensuring program quality, compliance, and operational excellence. She has been a dedicated member of Nanda since 2013, beginning her journey as a Two-Year-Old Teacher, where she spent five years building a strong foundation in early childhood education and classroom practice.

    Through her commitment, expertise, and leadership, Ms. Diana transitioned into an administrative role, where she now oversees critical areas of the organization. Her responsibilities include leading MSDE accreditation and Maryland EXCELS initiatives, supporting curriculum implementation, coordinating teacher professional development, and organizing classroom activities and family engagement events across all sites.

    Since 2017, Ms. Diana has also served as our General Curriculum Coordinator and now works closely with Ms. Yolanda Roberts and the administrative team to further enhance our academic programming.

    In addition to her administrative leadership, Ms. Diana provides ongoing classroom coaching and mentorship to teaching staff, while also supporting center directors with day-to-day operations. Her deep understanding of both classroom instruction and program management allows her to effectively bridge quality teaching practices with strong organizational systems.

    Ms. Diana’s passion for early childhood education, combined with her strategic leadership and commitment to excellence, continues to drive the success and growth of Nanda Learning Center.

  • Fernanda Uchoa

    Ms. Fernanda Uchoa

    Center Supervisor Traville Location

    Ms. Fernanda is a key member of the administrative team at our Traville location, where she supports the daily operations with a focus on our Infant and Toddler programs. With a strong understanding of early childhood routines and classroom dynamics, she helps ensure that each day runs smoothly for both children and staff.

    She works closely with teachers and leadership to maintain consistency in classroom transitions, support daily routines, and uphold a well-organized and nurturing learning environment. Ms. Fernanda also assists families by providing guidance, addressing questions, and supporting important documentation, including incident reporting and child-related records.

    In collaboration with the administrative team, she contributes to staffing coordination, classroom coverage, and overall center organization. Her reliability, attention to detail, and supportive approach make her an integral part of the Traville team and a trusted point of contact for both families and staff.

  • Yolanda Roberts

    Ms. Yolanda Roberts

    Curriculum Coordinator

    Ms. Yolanda Roberts serves as Nanda Learning Center’s Curriculum Coordinator, bringing a strong foundation in early childhood education and instructional leadership. She previously worked at our Manassas, VA location for nearly three years as a Lead Preschool Teacher, where she demonstrated excellence in classroom management, curriculum implementation, and child development practices.

    Her experience and expertise led to her promotion into this leadership role, where she now supports our programs as we advance toward MSDE accreditation at our Diamondback and Traville locations. Ms. Yolanda plays a vital role in ensuring high-quality curriculum implementation, consistent classroom practices, and alignment with state standards across all sites.

    She works closely with teachers through regular classroom visits, providing coaching and guidance on lesson planning, classroom structure, behavior management, and developmentally appropriate practices. In addition, she supports program-wide consistency by collaborating with leadership and assisting with administrative processes related to curriculum and instructional quality.

    Ms. Yolanda’s knowledge, leadership, and commitment to excellence make her an essential part of our team, strengthening both teaching practices and the overall learning experience for children and staff.

  • Mariana Almeida

    Ms. Mariana Almeida

    Administrative Support

    Ms. Mariana has been a valued member of Nanda Learning Center since 2022, where she plays an important role in supporting both our directors and administrative team. With a strong focus on organization and family communication, she assists with tuition-related matters, including account statements, and provides guidance on programs such as the Child Care Scholarship (CCS) and the Working Parents Assistance Program (WPA).

    Ms. Mariana serves as a reliable point of contact for families, helping address day-to-day questions and ensuring access to essential systems such as ProCare. She also supports teachers and classroom operations, contributing to a smooth and well-coordinated environment across the center.

    Working closely with Mr. Mohamad on financial operations, Ms. Mariana helps maintain efficiency and consistency in administrative processes. Her approachable and supportive presence extends beyond the office, as she is also available to assist in classrooms when additional support is needed. Her dedication and teamwork make her an integral part of the Nanda community.
